How to Replace Wiper Blades on a Ford Explorer
- 1Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield until it locks in the upright position.
- 2Locate the Pinch Tab connector where the blade meets the arm.
- 3Press the tab or release mechanism to slide the old blade off.
- 4Attach the new 28" driver blade — you'll hear a click when locked.
- 5Repeat on the passenger side with the 22" blade.
- 6Lower the wiper arms gently. Test by running wipers at low speed.
